Works donated in 2006 to the Oliewenhuis Art Museum, Bloemfontein (on loan since 1993)
Provenance: The Haenggi Foundation Inc., Johannesburg Gallery 21, Johannesburg Gallery 101, Johannesburg
Four panels were commissioned from Cecil Skotnes by Gallery 101 Johannesburg for their 2nd branch at Hyde Park Corner Shopping Centre, Sandton, which opened in March, 1970
Note: The above two panels were loosely affixed on the inside of the gallery doors. Two other panels were part of the outside door fixtures and retained by the landlord in 1976, as well as bronze door handles commissioned from Edoardo Villa in 1970. No photographic record is available of the latter items. None of the panels were signed.
