Legend (per Fort Hare Papers): "In Cosmic Trinity we have three figures tightly knit together and all united to a central disc symbolizing and representing the universe or cosmos. They are attached to this central disc by vein-like tendrils and they seem to feed on this, thus the cosmos. The thee figures represent the three basic cosmic forces, birth, death and awareness; forces that cannot be separated from one another but which must be seen as a united entity, a trinity."
